Wine Tour History

In 2007, as one of the organizers of the American Fine Wine Competition (AFWC), I decided to expand on the success with the wine industry and local charities by launching the Gold Medal Wine Tour.

The first "Tour" was a series of dinners featuring the Gold and Double Gold medal winner of the AFWC.

The "Tour" offers charities an opportunity to benefit financially with a luxury function that promotes quality American products.

The "Tour" is a proven fund raising event, sure to fit well into the annual portfolio for any charity. Dinners from 50-400 guests can be custom designed in your area. These events are held at venues suitable for an evening of fine food and great wine.

The wines are the best that America has to offer.

How do we know they are the best?  Because they have been judged in the American Fine Wine Competition by an incredible panel of South Florida judges. All judges are accomplished wine experts;  Educators, wine writers, savvy buyers, and certified sommeliers. The Gold Medal Wine Tour features just the Gold or Double Gold Medal winners from the American Fine Wine Competition - the only competition of its kind in the country.

The "Tour" guarantees your guests and donors an amazing evening that is literally impossible to achieve anywhere else in America!

Cafe Boulud        Palm Beach      561.655.6060

"When I discovered The Brazilian Court in Palm Beach I knew it would be a charming, sunny setting for a wonderful southern version of Cafe Boulud" explains Daniel Boulud. In July 2003 Daniel Boulud introduced a second Cafe Boulud in Palm Beach's legendary Brazilian Court Hotel. It is in the heart of Palm Beach and just steps from the famed Worth Avenue and miles of white sandy beach. Tucked away on a tree-lined street, the charming 1920's Spanish style buildings are interspersed with lush tropical garden courtyards.

The menu parallels that of its sister restaurant on East 76th Street in Manhattan and reflects the chef's four muses: La Tradition, La Saison, Le Potager and Le Voyage. La Tradition highlights classic French dishes. La Saison features courses in harmony with the seasons. Le Potager, named for the French vegetable garden, offers vegetarian dishes. Le Voyage is inspired by Daniel's interpretation of various
world cuisines.
